Superworms (Zophobas Morio)

We supply our own Superworms (Zophobas Morio) as live food: we consistently dedicate a high level of care to our product. Concentrating our full attention on Superworms  allows us to provide an excellent quality live food for a variety of pets.

Superworms are undeniably one of the best live food a retail store can have on their shelves. They have a wide market accommodating reptiles (especially lizards/bearded dragon range), amphibians such as frogs and axolotls, a wide range of fish, turtles, insectivorous birds, scorpions, spiders – and poultry too!

Superworms (Zophobas Morio) are a tropical species- they are not mealworms – and must not be refrigerated.

• They have a considerably long shelf life, in fact they can stay in their containers for up to 4 weeks until they consume all their bran: unless the weather is exceptionally hot, they don’t require any moisture for the first 2 weeks from delivery – after then, if a few will still be available on your shelf, just add a couple of slices of carrot to maintain moisture in their diet – no liquids.
• Superworms have very little odour and no slime.
• Once in their retail containers, they don’t morph into beetles.
• All natural, no hormones or chemicals involved: Superworms are just pure goodness!
• All new stores will receive a laminated Info sheet to display with the Superworms, providing their customers with a brief and practical presentation.

Temperatures above 35 degrees and extremely low temperatures can be detrimental to Superworms: delivery restrictions in extreme weather conditions will apply, please see our Shipping page for details.
